2019 Legislative Fly-In / Mid-Year Board Meeting
Join your colleagues and competition at our joint Legislative Fly-In / Mid-Year Board Meeting this summer!
During this highly anticipated event, our members will travel to Capitol Hill to meet with their members of Congress. Our legislative team will set up the appointments, accompany members on their visits, and provide an issue briefing and any issue papers that may be needed.
Fly-in participants will address the following issues:
- Respond to new threats and opportunities in Medicaid- and Medicare-funded NEMT service.
- Seek legislation for a safety requirement that all private sector drivers who provide passenger transportation service under contract to a local, state or federal program that receives federal funds be required to pass a fingerprint-based, national criminal background search and a drug and alcohol test.
Our jam-packed agenda will also include educational sessions, plenty of time to network with other industry leaders, and The Transportation Alliance's second board meeting of 2019, making this a must-attend event!
